the weekend of the 16th we were able to go down to colorado springs 
and spend a little family time together and with jason's cousins and families. we had such a wonderful time! the actual purpose of going down there was for me to get my eyes checked, which jason's cousin was going to do for free, and then we found out he could also swing jacob in for his frst eye exam. jacob was sooooo excited to get to see dr. ty! well, everything was good
... i now have contacts and a new pair of red, yes i said red, glasses. i am actually LOVING them and it was soooooo nice of ty and sara to put us up in their BEAUTIFUL home for the weekend and for kayle to give us her little suite for the weekend. it was a much needed time for us! we got to stop in at focus on the family again, which the kids loved, and then do some shopping$$$ . ;) it was a great
weekend overall! one of the blessings was being able to go to church with ty and sara. what an awesome church! the people were wonderful and very friendly! we had an awesome weekend overall!
