jacob playing dress-up

o.k., so i know it's been a little while, but i haven't thhought of anything to write about, until now...

last night we were sitting around the house watching t.v. and just relaxing. i was doing laundry and had been folding it and leaving on the futon until it was all done and then i would put it away. jacob decided he would help himself to some clean laundry and play dress up. if you look closely, you can see what he's wairing... it's a good thing jason doesn't read my blog, because he'd kill me for putting this picture on here! ;) any guesses as to what jacob put on himself??? i knew you'd never guess, so... they're daddy's boxers. jacob went over to the futon, grabbed a CLEAN pair of boxers, and managed to put one leg hole on one arm and the other arm he put through the hole on the front. he then proceded to put on a winter stocking cap from grammy linda and he crawled around the house like this, thinking he was hot stuff! so after we laughed for about 20 minutes, we took pictures and praised him for doing such a great job of dressing himself. oh the joys of little boys!

jacob also decided he wanted to eat more of daddy foods, so he popped through another 2 teeth this week. these would be #7&8. what a big boy he's becoming! hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!?!

not much new

well, around the hullinger house, it's been kinda' boring. not much new here. we've been busy with everyday things, and jacob is still not walking or anything, but we're not really too bummed about that either. i know the minute he figures out how to walk i will almost instantly lose weight, or at least i hope! i know he'll be running right away, and i'll be chasing him everywhere. he is such a busy body and always so curious. he'll be checking out everything on his own.
today the high temp for the day was 6 degrees and that was at 7:30 a.m. from there it only got cooler. it is only about 4 degrees right now. well, that's about all i have for now. hope all is well with all of you!

grammy and grandpa's

on saturday jason had a class in casper, wy. so i went along with him and grammy and grandpa had volunteered to babysit. the class started at 8:00 a.m. so we left the house at 4:15 and dropped jacob off at grammy and grandpa's. we then went on our way. we arrived in casper at about 7:00 a.m. and of course i was dying to know how my little man was doing, but jason wouldn't let me call, just in case they were still sleeping. so, i waited 'till 8:02 (2 minutes after jason left me for his class) ;) of course, he was fine, but i just missed my little man. we don't leave him very often. later in the day grammy told me she and grandpa were sitting in the living room and they looked at eachother and both asked the other where jacob was and they both jumped to go looking for him. they found him... he was half way up the stairs looking out the railing like a sweet little angel. moral of the story is, jacob's faster than grammy and grandpa!

we're back!!!!!!

well, after a week in beautiful michigan, our fun and games must end! we left yesterday morning at about 9:45 and drove very carefully to chicago, where we waited for a LONG time in the airport, but eventually took off and made it into denver, where my mother and father in law picked us up and brought us home. we actually made it home at 11:59 p.m. and not a minute too late. ;) we had a great time in michgan visiting family and friends and bringing joy to others with our son. we were able to have Christmas with jos and his fiance, ginger, great oma, oma, opa, uncle jos, aunt gloria, ronnie and j.j. we also had a fun time going out for dinner with the halls, almost all of them. we also had jacob dedicated on the 30th of dec. at wealthy park baptist church, with pastor young doing the dedication. we were really busy while we were there! we hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very blessed new year and we can't wait to hear from you!
